KNH Philippines

Empowering women and children, and strengthening communities

KNH Philippines is dedicated to protecting and empowering children across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Grounded in a child-rights based approach and aligned with the UNCRC, KNH works through local partnerships to prevent and respond to violence, strengthen child protection systems, and expand access to quality education, nutrition, health, and psychosocial support.

A core strategy of KNH's work is the Self Help Group Approach (SHA): by organizing and capacitating Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Cluster Level Associations (CLAs) and Federations, KNH strengthens local people's institutions to claim rights, mobilize resources, achieve income sufficiency, and participate meaningfully in local governance.
