KNH Kenya

Children's Rights at the Heart of our Work

KNH Kenya is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to protecting and promoting the rights of children in Kenya. KNH Kenya has been working for many years with local partner organizations to improve the lives of children and young people. Our projects focus on education, participation, and protection from violence – with special attention to children with disabilities.

We support children and youth in rural areas and urban slums by providing access to basic and vocational education. Self-help groups empower families and communities to take an active role in improving their living conditions. Through targeted child protection measures, we offer support and safety to children living on the streets and those affected by sexual exploitation.

With a strong focus on sustainable development, KNH Kenya contributes to building inclusive, resilient communities where children can grow up in safety and dignity.

Shelters offer protection for children who are particularly vulnerable to neglect, abuse and exploitation. Here, children who live on the streets and girls, among others, can develop freely and their rights are protected.
